One copper electroformed Quill & Crystal Hair Fork, Hair Wand, Shawl Pin  We picked up several antique African porcupine quills on our travels to different towns around the southeast. We were intrigued by how long, thick, and unique they are. The gentleman we purchased these from said he has had them for nearly 60 years! Some porcupines have up to 30,000 quills on their body. Porcupines can't shoot out their quills, but they will be easily released when predators get it touch with the animal. Each Quill comes adorned with a large Herkimer Diamond or Tibetan Quartz point,
